rob I had no idea you were such a Steely Dan fan. To be honest, I like most of their stuff too. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on "the boys" covering SD. From a talent standpoint, I stand by my assumption that Jerry, Billy Phil and Tom could've pulled it off. However, from a stylistic standpoint, I don't really think they would've tried it. But we can agree on Bobby not being up to "Do It Again". War, on the other hand, would own that tune.

In a word, "No." Though Simon's acerbic wit is somewhat legendary among the "televisionistas", I cannot be counted among the faithful when it comes to his "talent show" vehicles.
